Well, I never heard it before, but it sounds uncommon nonsense.

Excitement.

Soooo this week has been rather busy for me. I now am the proud owner of a beautiful gray and black striped cat named C.C. (short for Cheshire Cat). She's the sweetest thing. ^_^ I could gab all day about her but she's not really the reason I'm posting this, although I will mention that she's going in for surgery on the 8th, so prayers are nice. :)
Anyway, I just got this adorable fox ring on ebay that I'm soooooo excited about. It's the first thing I've ever gotten on ebay, but I'm pretty impressed with the selection of jewelry this seller has to offer. I don't make rings, brooches, or bangles, so finding amazing animal jewelry for pretty cheap is wonderful. You should definitely check this shop out, you never know what you'll find and suddenly realize you need. Link to the shop here, kthxbai! :)

So today was eventful.

Blek. Today was.....crazy. Got stuff for The Flying Skeleton, the ArtFire and Etsy shops will be open soon. Pretty emotionally drained due to that beautiful gray cat. She spent the night in the garage. She left this morning. After giving me time to fall in love... Yes, very very very emotionally draining. But the Monsieur made today wonderful anyway. ^_^

Don't you have anything you need to be doing right now?

Stuff I want to do:
-Make a multi-strand 3-Cross necklace with globs of chain hanging everywhere.
-Turn my hooded sweater into a poncho.

via PARK & CUBE
-Have some delicious coffee in a white mug sprinkled with cinnamon.
-Sew sequins onto something.

Stuff I need to do:
-Study for permit test. Mhmmm.
-Keep editing all those jewelry photos my Monsieur took for me.
-Create a collection of fonts, yessir.
-Contemplate non-curricular jewelry classes and other artistic endeavors.
-Think about getting a job at the bank? Maybe? Not sure, actually.

Love.

Ahhhhh I want that octopus!!! And I love their outfits at the end. Funeral attire has always fascinated me. :)

My Monsieur bought me these!!! They arrived in the mail yesterday, I love them so much!! I'll have to post a picture wearing them [that's not me in the picture, but don't worry, the earrings I got had never been worn.] I love them so much. Gaaaah I can't get over how awesome they are! They're so much prettier in real life. I totally suggest getting something from this seller, they're made by hand, so unique, and so cute! ^_^

My style 'resolutions.'

1. Don't rely on black. This will be a very hard resolution to keep. I rely on black as the foundation for almost every outfit I wear. Black is lovely and I love wearing it, but wearing it all the time can get boring. I start getting into safe zones and not stretching my creativity. I hate that.

2. Add animals! I love love love love love animals. I love octopuses, I love insects. Regardless of what's 'in' at the moment, I can use my accessories to show the world how in love I am with wildlife and strange beasts. ^_^

3. Accessorize more. Like previously mentioned, my accessories can take me a long way. I can ear the same thing twice and make it look completely different. It's all in the accessories. And I must admit, sometimes I forget the power of a good bracelet or smashing earrings and just throw on clothes, shoes, and grab my purse and go. This is a big no no for 2010. I want to use my accessories to their fullest extent this year. I want to get the biggest bang for my buck.

4. Only buy what I need. This one will be painful. If I don't need it, I don't need to buy it. I'm moving into the adult world, and there are quite a few things God has in store for me this year. I'll be doing a lot of growing up and getting ready to handle some very grown up things. And buying crap I don't need that I'm never going to wear.... it's just not a good idea. If I don't need it and if it's not going to stretch itself and work with everything in my wardrobe, I don't need to buy it. This means list making, stretching my wardrobe, and learning how to wear things a million different ways.
5. Have fun! Don't fall into safe zones or wear the same things over and over again. Take chances, make mistakes, try trends, have fun.
